Uma das militâncias a que me proponho abraçar é aquela por um espaço público mais vibrante nas cidades brasileiras. Quanto mais as pessoas se lançarem à rua deixando seus carros em casa (ou melhor, nem comprando-os), mais pressão será feita sobre as Administrações Públicas por transporte público mais eficiente, e mais a rua estará viva.
O quadro atual não é nada animador para o pedestre ou ciclista. O que talvez o pedestre de Brasília, por exemplo, mais sinta é menos a secura do clima, o calor do dia ou o frio da noite, mas temor pela solidão de seu ato. Poucos caminham. Há os que resistem: nem desses dias de certo temor em uma caminhada noturna, vi escrito em uma placa "Não tenha medo: seja consciente!". Achei fenomenal! Seguir andando é a luta!
Os sites que eu adiciono têm o perfil de valorizarem o espaço da rua, espaço das cidades.
